
1. Business Strategy & Planning:
- Drive the long-term strategy and annual operating plan (AOP) for the Aerospace business.
- Identify growth areas, adjacencies, and capability gaps in line with industry trends and customer needs.
2. CXO-Level Strategic Support:
- Prepare board-level presentations, market intelligence notes, and strategic papers.
- Work closely with MD, BU Head, and Corporate Strategy Head on high-impact business decisions.
3. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
- Track key trends in aerospace and defense manufacturing globally and in India.
- Maintain intelligence on competitor capabilities, customer movement, and pricing benchmarks.
4. Business Case Development:
- Build and validate strategic business cases for new investments, capacity additions, exports, insourcing/outsourcing decisions, and customer entry.
- Conduct ROI and scenario modeling for capex and partnership decisions.
5. Strategic Program Tracking:
- Monitor progress on major strategic initiatives (e.g., new plant ramp-up, customer entry, vertical integration).
- Escalate risk, delays, and deviations to the leadership team with recommendations.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work across operations, business development, engineering, and finance to align execution with strategy.
- Act as the internal "consulting arm" for leadership to enable informed decision-making.
