Key Responsibilities:
Location: Kharagpur, West Bengal
- Manage complete HR operations, covering employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, offboarding), payroll, attendance, and compliance with PF, ESI, PT, and gratuity.
- Comply with Indian labor laws, new labor codes, and manufacturing regulations including Factory Act, safety audits, and worker welfare.
- Administer HRMS platforms like GreytHR, produce MIS reports, address employee concerns, and collaborate with teams on organizational growth.
- Direct recruitment for manufacturing positions, lead interviews, and facilitate performance reviews, training, and engagement programs.
- Implement process enhancements, develop policies, prepare for audits, safeguard data privacy, and handle escalations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent; labor law or SHRM certification preferred.
- 8+ years in HR operations, including at least 5 years in manufacturing/industrial sectors (e.g., metals, cement).
- Demonstrated proficiency in payroll compliance, HRIS systems, and blue-collar workforce management.
Required Skills:
- In-depth understanding of Indian payroll, compliance, and manufacturing HR issues.
- Skilled in MS Excel, HRMS (GreytHR/Zoho), and tools like Teams and Outlook.
- Strong abilities in stakeholder engagement, problem resolution, and leadership.
Preferred Attributes:
- Background in hybrid setups and vendor management (e.g., Protiviti).
- Willingness to travel across sites and handle large-scale employee data.
