About the Role:

We are looking for a high-ownership Regional Manager to lead the end-to-end business and operational performance of a city/region as Ownly continues to expand across Tier 1 cities.

This role goes beyond managing day-to-day logistics. The Regional Manager will act as the business owner for the city, with responsibility for P&L, growth, customer experience, and people leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end P&L and business performance of the assigned city/region.

- Drive revenue growth, profitability, cost optimization, and overall city-level business outcomes.

- Lead end-to-end city operations across fulfilment, logistics, last-mile delivery, and customer experience.

- Define and track key city metrics including revenue, order volumes, cost/order, productivity, delivery TAT, SLA adherence, cancellations, and customer experience.

- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement initiatives to improve productivity, service levels, and profitability.

- Develop and execute strategies for city expansion, hub launches, capacity planning, and market penetration.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and operational leaders across the region.

- Build a strong culture of ownership, accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

- Use data and analytics to identify trends, diagnose problems, and make business decisions.

- Drive operational reviews and present city performance, insights, and action plans to senior leadership.

- Ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance requirements, and operational standards across the city.

- Take complete ownership of scaling the city while maintaining a balance between growth, customer experience, and profitability.

Must Have:

- 3-5 years of experience in P&L ownership with at least 1 year of team management.

- MBA from an IIM, ISB or B.Tech/Engineering degree from an IIT.

- Demonstrated experience in P&L ownership or managing the financial/business performance of a city, region, or business unit.

- Experience managing large-scale operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Strong understanding of business metrics, operational KPIs, cost structures, and profitability drivers.

- Proven ability to use data and analytics to make business decisions and drive measurable outcomes.

- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements, cost optimization, and business growth.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

- High ownership and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in an ambiguous and rapidly scaling environment.
