Job Role Overview:
The City Unlock Manager is responsible for driving city-level growth by unlocking new categories and enhancing marketplace efficiency. This includes conducting deep market research, identifying growth levers, executing high-impact projects, and managing P&L. The role demands close coordination with cross-functional teams and strong leadership of on-ground operations. A successful candidate will blend strategic thinking with flawless execution to meet growth, profitability, and operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand use-case triggers, consumer behavior, and barriers to adoption in existing and new categories.
- Derive city-level insights and identify growth levers and opportunities for expansion and category unlock.
- Ensure seamless execution of strategic projects/initiatives defined by the Regional Manager with a high degree of operational excellence.
- Own and drive P&L management and marketplace efficiency in the respective city.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on execution and deliverables.
- Manage on-ground teams, including promoters, interns, and executives, ensuring performance, productivity, and adherence to SOPs.
- Drive supply and demand initiatives that contribute to city-level growth targets.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
- Growth in Monthly Active Users (MAU) and customer retention in the city.
- Achievement of city-level growth targets and profitability.
- Supply growth and optimization across demand clusters.
- Marketplace performance metrics including FE-NET maximization.
- Execution success rate and impact metrics for special projects.
