Key Responsibilities
Retail Expansion & Store Launch
- Identify and evaluate high-potential locations for retail expansion.
- Lead end-to-end project management of new showroom launches including layout planning, vendor coordination, store interiors, branding, IT setup, and inventory deployment.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective store openings aligned with brand standards.
Showroom Operations & Sales Management
- Drive sales performance across all showrooms to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Implement SOPs for showroom operations, visual merchandising, inventory management, customer service, and compliance.
- Monitor KPIs such as footfall, conversion rates, average ticket size, sales per square foot, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure consistent brand presentation and premium customer experience across locations.
Team Building & Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage showroom managers and sales teams.
- Build a high-performance, customer-centric team culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training programs.
- Identify and develop future retail leaders.
Cross-functional Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Marketing for store launches, local promotions, and city-specific campaigns.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and HR for smooth operations.
- Prepare and present MIS reports on sales performance, operational challenges, and expansion progress.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7-12 years of experience in retail operations and expansion.
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership role managing multiple stores.
- Strong understanding of the Indian retail real estate landscape.
- Hands-on experience in opening new stores from scratch.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
