Detailed Responsibilities

1. Creative Direction & Brand Identity

- Define and evolve the design language of the brand

- Ensure consistency across all collections and categories

- Maintain a balance between heritage (polki/fine jewellery) and modern aesthetics

2. Concept & Collection Development

- Lead ideation for New collections

- Plan structured design releases (monthly/seasonal)

- Ensure freshness and innovation in every launch

3. Design Approval & Quality Control

- Review and approve all designs before sampling/production

Evaluate designs on:

- Creativity and originality

- Detailing and finish

- Wearability and appeal

- Ensure only high-quality, brand-aligned designs move forward

4. Designer & Freelancer Management

- Lead and mentor in-house and freelance designers

- Provide clear creative briefs and references

- Review sketches, CADs, and iterations

- Ensure consistency in output quality

5. Design Quality & Detailing Excellence

- Maintain high standards in:

- Stone placement

- Proportion and balance

- Finish detailing

- Ensure each design reflects craftsmanship and uniqueness

6. Trend Research & Innovation

Track:

- Domestic and international jewellery trends

- Bridal and occasion-based demand shifts

Introduce new:

- Concepts

- Techniques

- Design elements

7. Collaboration with CAD & Production

- Work closely with CAD and production teams

- Ensure design intent is accurately translated into final product

- Guide teams on maintaining design aesthetics during execution

8. Cataloging & Visual Presentation

- Oversee Photoshoots, Catalog development , Digital presentation (website/social media)

- Ensure premium and consistent brand representation

9. Process & System Development

Build structured workflows for:

- Design creation

- Review and approval

- Reduce dependency on individuals

- Ensure smooth and scalable design operations
