R&D Project Manager - Medical Devices

We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to join a global leader in the medical devices industry. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for managing cross-disciplinary R&D teams, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful development of medical device solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage R&D resources across scientific and engineering disciplines.

- Provide strategic direction and leadership in research and development initiatives.

- Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring timely execution, resource allocation, and delivery within budget and compliance standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, etc.) to align R&D projects with business objectives.

- Manage and mentor a team of technical and scientific professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

- Drive development of new technologies, products, and solutions in line with market needs and regulatory standards.

- Build and maintain networks within the industry, academia, and scientific communities to support research initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with medical device regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

- BE in Engineering or Science discipline.

- 12+ years of experience in the Medical Devices industry (mandatory).

- Proven track record in R&D management with people management responsibility across diverse technical teams.

- Strong project management experience with ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.

- Ability to operate at a strategic management level.

- Demonstrated experience in building networks and managing cross-functional collaboration.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
