Description:
- Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to optimize offerings and costs.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and support various audits (internal, statutory, compliance) and ensure timely closure of audit action items.
- Act as the primary contact for labor-related matters, coordinate with compliance consultants, and engage with labor authorities when necessary.
- Implement reward programs (i.e., base pay, incentives, benefits, well-being/ mental fitness etc. ) aligned to RLs global reward philosophy & strategy.
- Demonstrate deep business knowledge, participates in discussions and lead training sessions with executives and understand fundamental business drivers needed for success.
- Keep abreast of trends and best practices in industry through membership of HR societies, and industry compensation & benefits forums.
- May lead and/or participate in global total rewards projects that involve development and/or re-design of existing total rewards programs.
- Experience of working in GCC preferable exposure to the apparel sourcing industry is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
- High level of analytical acumen and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with the highest level of integrity.
