Role Summary:

This is a strategic leadership role that sits at the intersection of product management, marketing, and commercial excellence ; shaping how our worldclass global ranges resonate with Indian customers, channel partners and specifiers.


Key Responsibilities:


Portfolio Strategy & Positioning:


- Own the gotomarket strategy.


- Translate global positioning into locally relevant narratives that align with Indian market dynamics.

- Define clear product ladders, price architecture, and value propositions to differentiate between RAKs masspremium play and RAKs global luxury segment.


Market Insights & Adaptation:


- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive benchmarking to identify portfolio gaps and opportunities.

- Partner with global product teams to adapt SKUs, finishes, and designs to local preferences.

- Drive databacked decisions for portfolio rationalization and introductions.


Product Lifecycle Management:


- Oversee product launches, updates, and phaseouts with a crossfunctional launch calendar.

- Lead the creation of sales enablement tools (TDS sheets, design guides, hero product kits).

- Monitor product performance metrics: margin, contribution, and market penetration, adjusting strategies in real time.


Stakeholder Collaboration:


- Work closely with Sales, Retail Excellence, and Supply Chain teams to ensure portfolio adoption.

- Engage with dealers, architects, and influencers to gather feedback and finetune positioning.

- Act as the India voice to the global product team, sharing insights and shaping future developments.


KPI's:


- Improved consideration and preference scores for premium/luxury ranges.

- Measurable uplift in dealer adoption and project specifications.


Desired Profile:


Education: MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Strategy or similar.

Experience:


- 10-12 years in product management, category marketing, or portfolio strategy; preferably

in building materials, home décor or FMCG premium categories.

- Deep understanding of Indian trade, retail, and architect ecosystems.

- Analytical thinker with P&L ownership experience.

- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to inspire internal teams and external partners.
