Position Summary:
The Manager - Supply Planning (Tiles) will be responsible for leading supply planning for the Tiles business by ensuring optimal inventory, efficient production planning, and superior customer service levels. The role will collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales teams to drive Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), improve supplier reliability, optimize inventory health, and support digital transformation initiatives within the supply planning function.
Responsible for:
- Supply Planning: Lead end-to-end supply planning for the Tiles business to ensure uninterrupted product availability while optimizing inventory and production capacity.
- Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE): Drive the weekly Sales & Operations Execution process in collaboration with the Demand Planning team to align demand, supply, and inventory plans.
- Inventory Management: Own inventory health by improving inventory turns, optimizing stock levels, and reducing Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory across the supply chain.
- Supplier Performance: Improve supplier reliability, supply adherence, and delivery performance to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Customer Service: Deliver targeted customer service levels by achieving OTIF (On-Time In-Full) and LOTIF (Line On-Time In-Full) performance metrics.
- Production & Capacity Planning: Coordinate with manufacturing teams to balance production capacity, inventory availability, and customer demand.
- Digital Transformation: Lead digitization initiatives within Supply Planning by implementing advanced planning tools, dashboards, automation, and analytics.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure integrated planning and operational excellence.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline planning processes, improve planning accuracy, enhance inventory productivity, and reduce supply chain costs.
Job Specification:
Educational Qualification: Mandatory: IIM Mumbai, IIT Bombay, Symbiosis Nashik, IIT any. Good to Have: Relevant degree.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Planning or Supply Chain Planning.
- Candidates from Tier-1 organizations with 1-2 years of relevant Supply Planning experience.
- Experience in inventory management, production planning, and supply planning.
- Experience in Building Materials, Ceramics, and Consumer Durables, FMCG, or Manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of S&OE/S&OP processes.
- Exposure to manufacturing environment.
