Reports To: CEO Based at: Mumbai Description: The primary role of this position will be to establish strategic tie ups with like-minded investors, nurture and strengthen the relationship with them and to scout for the right opportunities for investment of the promoters'/AIF 's funds in businesses that are aligned with the investment thesis of RFO. The incumbent will do an independent research and network with the HNIs, other AIFs, Family offices etc. to understand their investment criteria and create and nurture relationships for co-investment or investment in the AIF managed by RFO. The Manager will use his/her own past relationships and experience to maximize on building these relationships for RFO. The Manager will also look for best investment opportunities as per the investment thesis of RFO. He/she will do the adequate research across industries and look for such businesses to invest. The Manager will also network with various investment bankers, investors, and other such entities to scout for the investment opportunities for RFO. He/she will do the first level of screening to analyze the deal and recommend the deals satisfying RFO criteria to the investment team of RFO. Responsibilities: - Preparation of Financial Models, Investment pitches and Presentations and Exit strategies. - Independently lead discussions with potential investors such as Angels, Family Offices, Venture Capital Funds and Private Equity funds to bring capital to the AIF. - Represent the company, as appropriate, at investor forums to build potential new relationships. Candidate profile: Qualification: - MBA in Finance or related disciplines from a reputed institute Experience: - Minimum 3 years' experience at a Bank's Wealth management division or with an institutional investor/ family office or with an investment banking organization. Capabilities: - Excellent communication skills (written and oral) - Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders including investment bankers, funds, family offices, wealth management firms, etc. - Analytical skills, business valuation knowledge for screening of proposals - Resourcefulness to conduct industry research and collate and curate data - Experience in holding networking events and meetings is desirable - The candidate must be willing to travel frequently - We are looking for a self-starter and results-oriented person Raintree Family Office is an equal opportunity employer.
