Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes

- Develop financial models to support business decisions and scenario analysis

- Monitor business performance vs budget and provide actionable insights

- Prepare MIS reports highlighting key financial and operational KPIs

2. Financial Reporting:

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements

- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS as applicable)

3. Cost Accounting:

- Develop and maintain standard costing systems

- Analyze product/project cost structures and identify cost optimization opportunities

- Monitor variances between actual vs standard costs and provide insights

- Support pricing decisions through cost analysis

4. Treasury Management:

- Manage cash flow planning and liquidity requirements

- Monitor banking relationships, fund utilization, and working capital efficiency

- Support debt management, interest optimization, and fund raising activities

- Ensure compliance with banking covenants and financial controls

5. Project Finance:

- Evaluate financial feasibility of capital projects and investments

- Prepare project financial models including IRR, NPV, payback analysis

- Monitor project budgets, fund allocation, and utilization tracking

- Coordinate with business and engineering teams for financial governance of projects

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant

- 610 years of post qualification experience

- Experience in manufacturing / infrastructure / large-scale operations preferred
