
Business Development Manager
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a proven record in educational product sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
This role involves extensive field engagement, client servicing, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-impact sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Present and promote educational books and learning solutions to schools, educators, institutions, and channel partners.
- Conduct product briefings and demonstrations to school management, teachers, and decision-makers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities through field visits, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about competitors, customer needs, and emerging trends.
- Work closely with the editorial, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment of offerings with customer requirements.
- Represent the company at educational events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on sales performance, client feedback, and market developments.
- Ensure collections and coordinate with the finance team on payment follow-ups.
