We are looking for a hands-on finance controllership professional to join our Tax, Audit & Seller Settlements function within a large e-commerce / marketplace environment.
This is a pure execution role.
It is not a strategy, transformation, or design position.
The role demands deep comfort with operational finance hygiene, GST execution, reconciliations, audits, and control-driven work.

Key Responsibilities:
Finance Execution & Controllership:
Perform end-to-end reconciliations for:
- Seller settlements.
- Marketplace deductions & penalties.
- Claims vs actual recoveries.
- Conduct variance analysis and root-cause identification.
- Validate financial claims and coordinate with operations, tax, and audit teams.
- Ensure high data accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
Marketplace / Seller Finance Operations:
Manage the complete order-to-settlement lifecycle - Order Shipment Return RTO Refund.
Reconcile:
- Marketplace deductions.
- Shortages, penalties, and claims.
- Payment gateway settlements.
- Work closely with seller finance and marketplace operations teams.
- Prior experience with Flipkart / Amazon / large marketplace ecosystems is strongly preferred.
GST Hands-On Execution (Mandatory):
Execute (not oversee):
- GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B reconciliations.
- E-commerce TCS.
- Section 194-O compliance.
Handle:
- Credit reversals.
- GST mismatches and issue resolution.
- Audit queries and GST notices.
- Comfortable working with messy, operational GST data.
- High-level GST policy or advisory-only profiles will not be suitable.
Audit, Controls & Finance Hygiene:
Actively support:
- Big 4 statutory audits.
- Internal audits and control testing.
- Respond to repetitive data and audit queries with accuracy and patience.
- Maintain strong documentation, audit trails, and SOP compliance.
- High comfort in control-heavy, structured audit environments.
SOP & Process Discipline:
Strict adherence to:
- Internal finance SOPs.
- Marketplace processes.
- Big 4 (Deloitte / APMG / EY / PwC) frameworks.
- Executes defined processes without resistance or deviation.
- Low ego around process ownership or redesign.
