R K Group - Direct Tax Manager

Role Overview:

The Direct Tax Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end direct tax compliance, assessments, and advisory matters for RK Group's e-commerce operations. The role requires hands-on expertise in corporate taxation, interaction with tax authorities, and supporting business decisions from a tax perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage income tax compliances including filing of returns, computation of advance tax, and tax audits.

- Handle scrutiny assessments, tax notices, and represent the company before income tax authorities.

- Provide tax planning and advisory support for business transactions and strategic initiatives.

- Review and monitor TDS compliances, reconciliations, and related filings.

- Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

- Track amendments in direct tax laws and assess their impact on business operations.

- Ensure timely closure of assessments and minimization of tax risks.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong working knowledge of the Income Tax Act and allied laws.

- Experience in corporate taxation, assessments, and tax audits.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Background - Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or fast-growing corporate environments will be an added advantage.
