Job Description:
- Ensure accurate computation of salaries, bonuses, incentives, and final settlements.
- Oversee all statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and gratuity.
- File periodic returns with appropriate government authorities (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS, PT).
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations including related accounting entries.
- Manage payroll audits (internal/external), reconcile payroll data, and resolve discrepancies with necessary payroll documentation.
- Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory changes impacting payroll.
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Continuously improve payroll processes for accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Prepare payroll MIS reports and dashboards for management.
Requirements:
- 7-8 years of experience in managing India payroll for a mid to large-sized organization; experience in
the software or services industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll processes and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with payroll software.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
