
Role / Position Title: Senior Legal Technology Consultant
Function/Department: QuisLex Advisory
Major Accountabilities
1. AI & Copilot-Based Workflow Engineering:
- Design and build Copilot-enabled workflows across Microsoft 365 and enterprise environments.
- Develop practical use cases leveraging Microsoft Copilot, GenAI applications, and automation frameworks.
- Embed AI into contract lifecycle, knowledge retrieval, matter intake, compliance tracking, and advisory workflows.
- Translate legal process maps into AI-native execution models.
- Design Legal Front Door experiences for triage, intake, self-service, and guided support across legal requests.
- Build legal workflows using enterprise LLMs with appropriate orchestration, retrieval, controls, and governance.
2. CLM & Enterprise Legal Systems Implementation:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.
- Configure workflows, clause libraries, templates, playbooks, approval matrices, and reporting frameworks.
- Drive integrations between CLM, CRM, ERP, DMS, procurement, and ticketing systems.
- Optimize system adoption, governance, and scalability.
3. Low-Code / No-Code Legal Workflow Automation:
- Build scalable legal workflows on platforms such as: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate); CoPilot Studio; Appian; Jira / JSM; and other enterprise workflow tools.
- Develop intake portals, matter management systems, self-service contracting tools, and compliance trackers.
- Automate review routing, risk scoring, obligation tracking, and approval workflows.
- Design and deploy Legal Front Door portals and enterprise LLM-enabled workflow solutions for intake, triage, knowledge access, and request fulfillment.
4. Document & Knowledge Management Architecture:
- Design and implement document management systems and knowledge repositories.
- Define taxonomy, metadata structures, and governance models.
- Enable AI-powered search and retrieval capabilities.
- Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and optimized for reuse.
5. Legal Data Architecture & Analytics (Collaborative Leadership):
- Develop strong conceptual understanding of legal data models and information architecture.
- Define operational KPIs and performance dashboards aligned with legal and business objectives.
- Partner closely with data scientists and BI teams to:
1. Structure legal datasets for AI-readiness.
2. Enable executive reporting and insights.
3. Translate operational questions into measurable metrics.
- Ensure legal systems are implemented with clean metadata, taxonomy, and governance principles.
- Support analytics use cases such as cycle time analysis, risk concentration tracking, workload forecasting, and SLA performance.
6. Client Engagement & Solution Leadership:
- Lead discovery workshops and operating model assessments with in-house legal teams.
- Design integrated, multi-system legal transformation roadmaps.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, procurement, finance, compliance, and operations stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior legal and business leadership.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value narratives.

Ideal Background:
- 15 - 20 years of total professional experience.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of hands-on implementation, solution design, and system build experience in legal technology.
- Proven track record implementing CLM platforms and enterprise legal systems.
- Experience implementing other legal systems such as legal spend management, data privacy, compliance, and litigation platforms in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience building workflow automation and GenAI-enabled solutions.
- Experience working with Copilot-based solutions or similar AI-assisted enterprise environments.
- Experience designing Legal Front Door solutions and building legal workflows using enterprise LLMs in secure enterprise environments.
- Strong working knowledge of low-code platforms (Jira/JSM, Appian, Microsoft Power Platform, etc.).
- Strong understanding of legal operations metrics and legal data structuring principles.
- Experience partnering with data scientists or analytics teams to enable reporting and AI use cases.
- Experience integrating legal systems with enterprise tools (CRM, ERP, HRIS, DMS, other legal systems).
- Experience working with senior executives and influencing stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and lead complex functions, execute projects, and drive technology-enabled legal solutions.
- Experience in legal technology selection, implementation, strategy, process optimization, and digital transformation.
- Success in leading within a matrix environment and coaching teams.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
