Job Title: Head - Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce)

Reporting to: Chief Marketing Officer / Business Head

Function: E-Commerce & Digital Growth


About the Role:


We are seeking a growth-driven Head Q-Commerce to build and scale our FMCG business across leading quick commerce platforms. The role will be pivotal in driving revenue, profitability, and visibility for the brand in one of the fastest-growing retail channels in India.

You will be responsible for developing the overall business strategy, optimizing assortment, managing platform partnerships, and ensuring seamless coordination between supply chain, marketing, and category teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Leadership & P&L Ownership:

- Own end-to-end P&L for the Q-Commerce vertical, driving sustainable revenue and margin growth.

- Develop short-term and long-term business plans aligned with organizational growth goals.


Platform Management:

- Build strategic partnerships with Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, and BigBasket Now teams.

- Negotiate annual JBP (Joint Business Plans), visibility contracts, and performance metrics.


Assortment & Pricing Strategy:


- Curate the right portfolio, pack-size, and pricing strategy based on platform insights and consumer demand.


- Manage promotions, media spends, and ROI analysis for visibility and conversion improvement.


Media & Marketing Synergy:

- Partner with the brand and digital teams to drive platform-level activations, sponsored listings, and co-branded campaigns.

- Ensure media planning aligns with sales targets and brand objectives.


Operational Excellence:


- Liaise with supply chain and demand planning teams to ensure product availability and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) deliveries.


- Monitor inventory turns and reduce wastage or stockouts through accurate forecasting.


Analytics & Insights:

- Track category performance, pricing trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.

- Leverage analytics to refine strategy and improve ROI.


Team Leadership:


- Lead a high-performing team of category, key account, and performance marketing professionals.


- Build capability and foster a performance-oriented culture.


Key Skills & Experience:


- 10-15 years of experience in FMCG sales, e-commerce, or modern trade, with at least 3-4 years in Q-Commerce or digital distribution.

- Strong commercial acumen with prior P&L ownership.

- Deep understanding of FMCG assortment planning, supply chain coordination, and platform algorithms.

- Proven experience in managing high-value platform partnerships.

- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical skills.


Preferred Background:

- Experience with FMCG brands in Food, Beverages, Personal Care, or Household categories.

- MBA or equivalent from a reputed institute preferred.
