QuantumStreet AI - Portfolio Construction Specialist

For their investment lab in Bangalore, they are looking for a quantitative portfolio construction specialist (5-10 years exp) with prior exposure to global capital markets. The candidate will possess strong quantitative skills (ML/ AI knowledge advantageous) and hands-on programming skills, especially in Python. Knowledge of financial data (structured and unstructured), forecast models, portfolio optimization models, and risk models will put the candidate in good stead.

The person will primarily contribute to the creation and management of systematic strategies for institutional clients worldwide. Therefore, a track record in portfolio construction in global markets/ sectors/ themes would be desirable (candidates who have moved from research to portfolio construction will also be considered.)

Specific responsibilities include:

- Ideate and rapidly prototype new investment strategies

- Respond to client requests for new products, working collaboratively with a pool of talented portfolio specialists and AI experts

- Continuously monitor existing portfolios for performance, risk, and style drifts

- Be responsible for portfolio rebalancing on an ongoing basis

- Contribute to client engagement and timely resolution of client queries

- Contribute to internal research, data engineering, and model building

- Function as an Individual Contributor (IC) where necessary, but also promote team collaboration across the firm

- Adopt a mindset of continuous learning and improvement, including agentic workflows

- Mentor junior colleagues in their work and skill development
