We are looking to develop quantitative investment strategies for Asian capital markets including India. We are unique in that we are seeking candidates who have excelled in their respective fields (mathematics, pure sciences, engineering, etc.) and are not necessarily finance domain experts. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong programming base and are interested in quantitative research and trading.  Quantitative Research Developer  - The Quantitative Research Developer is part of a specific investment strategy using macro-economic data. The role involves analyzing global economic, equity and fixed income data and evaluating its impact on currencies, commodities, equities and fixed income instruments. The Quantitative Research Developer will be responsible for the development of the research infrastructure for the strategy. This role involves exposure to various aspects of investment management like generation of trades, portfolio construction, risk analysis, performance analysis and environment analysis.  The responsibilities will include the following:   - Develop and test trading strategies and ideas. Build analytics for back testing of trading signals.  - Set up. analyze and process economic, equity and fixed income data for further research  - Build analytics for construction and analysis of portfolios.  - Build analytics for risk, performance and environment analysis of portfolios.  - Work with the trading team for execution of the investment strategy   - Reading of research papers and journals to identify research ideas  Excellent candidates will generally have or exceed the following qualifications:   - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics or similar disciplines from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Statistical Institute or similar.   - Excellent mathematical skills   - Very strong programming skills. Good understanding of object oriented programming concepts   - Very strong programming skills in one of the following: Python, C++, C# or Java.
