About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our Sales and Growth team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and supporting revenue growth initiatives.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on execution, with a strong emphasis on business management and client engagement.

The Business Development Specialist will work closely with the Business Development Manager and other key stakeholders to drive market expansion, optimize sales processes, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development & Management:

- Develop and implement business growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend evaluation to identify opportunities.

- Analyze sales data, market trends, and client feedback to inform business decisions and strategies.

- Assist in the creation of comprehensive business plans, sales forecasts, and client retention programs.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

- Identify, approach, and engage potential clients across target segments.

- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and professional resolution.

- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.

Sales Enablement & Reporting:

- Support the preparation and delivery of persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and promotional materials.

- Maintain and update CRM databases (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) with accurate client and lead information.

- Generate detailed sales reports, providing actionable insights for management.

- Track performance against targets and assist management in refining sales strategies.

Event Management & Networking:

- Plan, coordinate, and participate in networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.

- Represent the company professionally at events to enhance brand presence and generate leads.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

- Work closely with the Business Development Manager to align strategies and initiatives.

- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop campaigns, promotional materials, and business proposals.

- Support internal teams with ad-hoc business development activities and strategic projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (2-5 years preferred).

- Strong knowledge of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- High level of motivation, resilience, and ability to manage deadlines effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
