Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Pre-Sales Manager to lead solution demonstrations, drive technical and business discussions with prospects, and collaborate closely with the sales, product, and engineering teams.
This role is critical in shaping client perception, positioning the value of our solutions, and contributing to overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Solution Consulting
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, business challenges, and solution needs.
- Lead end-to-end pre-sales activities including product demos, POCs, presentations, and technical solutioning.
- Translate customer needs into effective product configurations and solution proposals.
- Prepare customer-specific value propositions and ROI-driven business cases.
Requirement Gathering & Technical Discovery
- Conduct discovery workshops to understand client workflows, technical environments, and pain points.
- Map customer requirements to product capabilities and identify solution gaps.
- Gather feedback to support product roadmap discussions.
Proposal & Documentation
- Create high-quality pre-sales artifacts including:
RFP/RFI responses
Solution design documents
Technical proposals
Functional specifications
Pricing inputs & cost estimates
- Ensure proposals are aligned with customer needs and internal delivery capabilities.
Product Demonstrations & Presentations
- Deliver impactful product demos tailored to the customers industry and use case.
- Explain complex technical and business concepts in simple, value-driven language.
- Highlight differentiators and showcase product strengths during client interactions.
Collaboration Across Teams
- Partner with product, engineering, marketing, and sales to refine messaging and demo scripts.
- Work with the delivery/implementation teams for accurate scoping and project feasibility.
- Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, case studies, and events when needed.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, market conditions, and emerging technologies.
- Provide insights to the sales and product teams to sharpen market positioning.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Act as a technical advisor during the entire sales cycle.
- Ensure smooth handover to implementation teams post-deal closure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, Technical Sales, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of SaaS, enterprise software, cloud technology, or relevant domain.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
- Experience conducting product demos and customer workshops.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, etc.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
