Qentelli - Lead Engineering Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineering Manager with strong expertise in .NET technologies, AWS cloud services, and Scaled Agile delivery frameworks. The ideal candidate will lead high-performing engineering teams, drive architectural decisions, oversee end-to-end delivery, and collaborate closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.

- Drive engineering best practices across coding, design, architecture, testing, CI/CD, and cloud deployments.

- Facilitate technical decision-making, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Technical Expertise:

- Oversee solution design and architecture using .NET Core / .NET , Web APIs, Microservices, and modern frameworks.

- Guide teams in building cloud-native applications using AWS services like Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, etc.

- Ensure adherence to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform), and automation-first principles.

Agile & Delivery Management:

- Lead programs using Scaled Agile (SAFe) frameworks.

- Work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to define roadmaps, refine backlogs, and plan PI (Program Increments).

- Monitor delivery KPIs and ensure commitments are met within timelines and quality standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

- Partner closely with architecture, product management, QA, DevOps, and business teams.

- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to executive leadership.

- Influence and drive technology strategy aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 18-24 years of experience in software engineering with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.

- Strong hands-on background in .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Deep experience in AWS cloud architecture and services.

- Proven experience implementing or leading teams in Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments.

- Strong understanding of DevOps practices - CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, observability, and monitoring.

- Excellent people leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAFe Agilist / SAFe Practitioner certification.

- AWS Solutions Architect or Developer certification.

- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and high-scale applications.

- Prior experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
