Position Overview
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and closing high-value deals.
This is a strategic role that requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to deliver consistent sales performance in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions that meet their business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, pre-sales, product, delivery) to drive successful client engagements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospects.
- Lead contract negotiations and close deals with key clients.
- Track pipeline progress, prepare regular sales forecasts, and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
- Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8- 10 years of experience in B2B sales,
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of solution selling, consultative sales, and customer engagement models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze complex business situations.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
- Willingness to travel as required
