Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QAD Enterprise Financials Consultant with strong customization and technical skills to support, enhance, and optimize QAD ERP financial modules.
The ideal candidate will combine deep functional knowledge of QAD Financials with hands-on experience in system customization, integrations, and user specific enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation, configuration, and support of QAD Enterprise Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Costing, Tax, etc.) on QAD AERP 2024
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into eective QAD financial solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain customizations using QAD tools (e.g., QXtend, EE, QAD EF Non-Intrusive Customization Framework, Progress/Open Edge, Excel Integration, Financial APIs)
- Develop and support custom reports, forms, and inquiries
- Integrate QAD Financials with third-party systems and internal applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues in financial processes
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities
- Perform system testing, UAT support, and documentation
- Train end users and provide post-go-live support
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure system alignment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise Financials
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proven experience in QAD customization and technical development
- Experience with Progress/OpenEdge, QXtend, EE, APIs, or similar tools
- Ability to write and optimize custom reports and queries
- Experience in ERP integrations and data migration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- QAD Certification (Financials and/or Technical)
- Experience with QAD Adaptive ERP and cloud environments
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Exposure to SQL, BI/reporting tools, or workflow automation
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
