Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development professional to lead client engagement, strategic partnerships, and opportunity generation in the Energy and Infrastructure domain. The candidate will play a critical role in expanding our customer base, identifying new markets, and achieving revenue growth aligned with Pyramid E&Cs global vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and related sectors.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, client presentations, proposal development, contract negotiations, and closure.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Develop market intelligence to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Proposals, Projects) to deliver client-centric solutions.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to promote the companys offerings.
- Prepare business development reports, forecasts, and strategic plans for target regions.
- Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum) or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 3-8 years of proven experience in business development or sales in the EPC / Oil & Gas / Process Plant industry.
- Deep understanding of project lifecycle in EPC contracting, modular plants, and related technologies.
- Strong network in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, or relevant geographies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with modular process systems or packaged plants.
- Familiarity with project finance, techno-commercial proposals, and international contracting.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
