Social Media Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute monthly content calendars aligned with movie releases, festivals, brand campaigns, and business priorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, studios, influencers, and agencies to source creative assets and content hooks.
Platform Management:
- Own and manage all official social media handles (Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, WhatsApp Channels).
- Adapt content formats per platform trends - Reels, Shorts, carousels, memes, and more.
Campaign Execution:
- Launch buzz-worthy campaigns for movie promotions, offers, and experiential events.
- Run moment marketing and real-time engagement around pop culture, trailer drops, and viral trends.
Community & Engagement:
- Drive follower growth, high engagement, and quality conversations.
- Manage DMs, comments, and brand sentiment in coordination with the CRM and customer care teams.
Performance & Reporting:
- Monitor analytics using native platform insights and third-party tools.
- Share weekly/monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
Influencer & Creator Collaborations:
- Identify and partner with relevant creators and influencers for co-branded content, reviews, and reach enhancement.
Crisis & Reputation Management:
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to any online crisis or misinformation.
- Align with PR and brand teams on sensitive issues.
Key Requirements:
- 5-8 years of hands-on social media experience, ideally with a consumer brand or media/entertainment company.
- Strong understanding of Indian pop culture, film fandoms, and online communities.
- Creativity, wit, and a finger on the pulse of social trends and Gen Z culture.
- Strong copywriting, content ideation, and visual communication skills.
- Proven track record of running social-first campaigns and growing digital communities.
- Proficiency in tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite and analytics dashboards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
