About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Associate Business Manager - Social Media with at least 3 years of prior experience in a digital marketing agency.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end social media strategy, execution, and client servicing.
This role requires strong client-facing skills, cross team coordination, and the ability to deliver high-quality social media campaigns across diverse industries.
The position is based out of Kolkata and will directly manage projects from renowned clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Servicing
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communications, calls, and presentations.
- Understand client objectives, translate them into actionable social media strategies, and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide periodic performance reports, insights, and recommendations.
Content Planning & Execution
- Develop monthly social media calendars aligned with brand objectives and seasonal and/or latest trends.
- Coordinate with copywriters, designers, and other creative team members for content creation.
- Oversee and execute content publishing, monitoring, and performance tracking across platforms.
Event Coverage
- Cover client events and activations for social media in real-time, ensuring engaging live updates, stories, and post-event highlights.
- Liaise with creative teams to capture and publish relevant content that reflects brand presence and audience engagement.
Project Management
- Manage end-to-end social media activities for 3-4 assigned brands.
- Ensure timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive creative, engaging, and on-brand content.
Strategic Input
- Identify new opportunities for campaign amplification and platform innovations.
- Support the Business Manager in client pitches, proposals, and strategy decks.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of social media management experience in a digital marketing agency.
- Proven track record of handling client accounts independently.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-servicing skills.
- Ability to work with creative and copy teams to deliver high-quality output.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Analytical mindset to track performance and optimize campaigns.
