Pure Nutrition - Head - Government & Sports Affairs

Government & Institutional Engagement:

- Lead and manage relationships with Central and State government departments, including the Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs, state secretariats, and key bureaucratic stakeholders

- Act as the primary liaison between Pure Nutrition and government authorities across Gujarat and Maharashtra

- Track and engage on government policies, tenders, and procurement opportunities related to sports nutrition and micro-nutrition programs

Tenders & Business Development:

- Identify, pursue, and secure government tenders and institutional contracts for sports nutrition, athlete programs, and public health initiatives

- Ensure no Central or State-level procurement opportunity is missed by proactively monitoring tender portals and policy developments

- Influence, follow up, negotiate, and close large-scale government and institutional projects

Sports Ecosystem & Strategic Positioning:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with sports federations, associations, academies, and training institutions

- Position Pure Nutrition as a preferred nutrition partner for major sporting events, including the Commonwealth Games, Olympics, and national-level tournaments

- Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with athlete and institutional requirements

Execution & Leadership:

- Drive tactical execution with a high level of follow-through to ensure timely closures

- Provide strategic inputs to leadership on government relations, policy risks, and opportunity pipelines

- Represent Pure Nutrition at government meetings, sports forums, and industry events

Required Experience & Qualifications:

- 10-20+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, sports affairs, or institutional sales within consumer goods, nutrition, FMCG, or allied industries

- Deep, established networks across Sports Ministry, Youth Affairs Department, state secretariats, sports federations, and bureaucratic circles

- Proven track record of securing government tenders and institutional contracts

- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, policies, and compliance requirements

- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels with strong ownership

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced qualification preferred
