Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable procurement sources.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
- Source and purchase materials and services according to project requirements and quality standards.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet project timelines.
- Assist in preparing and managing procurement budgets, monitoring variances to control costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with project and site teams.
- Conduct quality checks to verify purchased items meet specifications and standards.
- Maintain documentation and compliance for all procurement transactions.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks such as price fluctuations, delays, or vendor performance issues.
- Maintain supplier performance data, cost analyses, and procurement records.
- Collaborate with project management, finance, and operations teams for seamless procurement execution.
- Suggest process improvements and cost-saving strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Generate regular reports on procurement activities, stock levels, and budget utilization.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in real estate/construction.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, and procurement systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement software.
- Attention to detail with strong documentation and compliance skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines.
