Job Summary:


We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager Projects to lead end-to-end procurement activities for large, time-bound projects.


- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across IT, Infrastructure, and Services procurement, along with proven experience in vendor management, imports, taxation, and team leadership.


Key Responsibilities :


- Lead and manage project procurement activities ensuring timely availability of materials and services.


- Handle procurement across: IT: Hardware, Software, Networking equipment Infrastructure: Non-IT materials, Telecommunication, Electronics, and allied items Services: Software & Hardware AMC, renewals, labor and service contracts


- Develop and maintain strong relationships with reputed OEMs, national distributors, and contractors. Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and service-level agreements.


- Ensure procurement activities comply with taxation laws, duties, levies, and organizational policies. Manage import procurement, including documentation, customs clearance, and Incoterms.


- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement with project timelines and requirements.


- Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team to meet project and business objectives. Monitor vendor performance and ensure effective vendor and stakeholder management.


- Ensure agile execution of procurement plans to meet time-bound project milestones.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 12+ years of experience in project procurement, preferably in large-scale or infrastructure-driven environments.


- Strong knowledge of IT, Infrastructure, and Services procurement.


- Hands-on experience with imports, Incoterms, customs procedures, and international sourcing. Sound understanding of taxation, duties, and statutory levies applicable to materials and services.


Proven experience in team leadership and vendor management.


- Excellent oral and written communication skills.


- Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.


- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven project environments.
