



Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Java Lead / Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications and cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in modern Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled solution development.
The role demands strong technical leadership, solution architecture capabilities, stakeholder management, and mentoring experience while actively contributing to engineering excellence and innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring ecosystem technologies.
- Design and implement scalable microservices and reactive systems.
- Develop secure APIs and authentication/authorization frameworks using Spring Security.
- Build high-performance RESTful APIs and define API contracts and governance standards.
- Drive cloud-native application development and deployment on AWS.
- Create and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders for successful solution delivery.
- Lead technical solutioning, estimation, and implementation planning.
- Ensure scalability, observability, resilience, and performance optimization across applications.
- Mentor development teams on coding standards, architecture patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Drive adoption of AI/GenAI technologies and agentic AI solutions where applicable.
Required Technical Skills:
Core Java & Backend Technologies:
- Strong experience in Java 21
- Expertise in Spring Boot

Persistence & Databases:

ii. Azure PostgreSQL
- Exposure to:
i. Query optimization
ii. Performance tuning
iii. Schema and entity design
API & Integration:
- Strong understanding of:

Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
