Role Overview:

As Deputy General Manager - Cybersecurity IT Business Partner, you will be a critical interface between the IT organization and the broader business, ensuring cybersecurity considerations are seamlessly integrated into IT strategy and operations. You will collaborate with various teams, including IT Infrastructure, Security Operations Center (SOC), and application development, as well as business stakeholders, to understand their needs and translate them into actionable security initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to protecting Publicis Sapient's assets and maintaining the trust of our clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the business's IT landscape, identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with IT leadership to integrate cybersecurity best practices into IT strategy, architecture, and project planning.

- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing guidance on security-related matters and promoting a security-conscious culture.

- Lead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee IT risk assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and developing remediation plans.

- Manage and coordinate security incident response activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents.

- Monitor the effectiveness of security controls and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the organization's security posture.

- Partner with the Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud solutions.

- Oversee and guide the Security Operations Center (SOC) in its daily operations, ensuring effective threat detection and response.

- Ensure IT compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Proven expertise in IT risk management, IT audit, and compliance frameworks.

- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including network security, server security, and endpoint security.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.

- Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and incident response.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP are highly desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- Adaptable to a hybrid work environment based in Pune.
