1. Role Overview

- The PR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations initiatives to manage the companys image, enhance brand visibility, and maintain strong relationships with media, industry stakeholders, and government bodies. This role involves leading external communications, managing crisis situations, and aligning messaging with the organizations growth and business strategies. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement, communication expertise, and the ability to drive meaningful industry influence.

2. Key Responsibilities

PR , Communication Strategy

- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that strengthen brand positioning and corporate reputation.

- Draft, review, and distribute press releases, media kits, thought leadership content, and company announcements.

- Plan and execute PR campaigns aligned with organizational priorities.

Media ; Stakeholder Relations

- Build and sustain strong professional relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and industry bodies.

- Serve as the company spokesperson in press interactions, forums, and corporate events.

- Manage agency/vendor relationships where applicable.

Crisis and Reputation Management

- Develop and manage crisis communication strategies.

- Address negative publicity proactively and provide counsel to senior leadership during sensitive issues.

Event ; Campaign Management

- Organize and coordinate press conferences, media briefings, stakeholder forums, and corporate events.

- Support CSR initiatives and company-led outreach activities.

Monitoring and Analysis

- Track media coverage, analyze sentiment, prepare PR reports, and measure campaign effectiveness.

- Ensure proactive communication strategies based on industry trends and competitor benchmarking.

Internal Collaboration

- Align closely with Marketing, HR (for employer branding), and Leadership to ensure cohesive messaging.

- Support internal communication initiatives where relevant.

3. Required Experience ; Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or related field. Masters/MBA preferred.

Experience:

- 5-10 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Reputation Management (depending on role seniority).

- Proven experience working with media networks and managing high-impact PR campaigns.

- Experience in managing crisis communication and leadership advisory preferred.

- Industry Advantage: Background in relevant sector (e.g., manufacturing, FMCG, technology, industrial sectors, energy, etc.) is beneficial.

- Familiarity with digital PR and media tracking tools is an advantage.

- Willingness to travel for media and stakeholder events as required.

4. Key Competencies

- Strong written ; verbal communication, storytelling skills, ability to articulate complex ideas.

- Ability to build and maintain high-level relationships with media, government, industry, and leadership.

- Develop PR initiatives aligned with business objectives and long-term brand positioning.

- Skilled in managing sensitive issues with agility and discretion.

- Extensive contacts across media ecosystem and ability to leverage relationships.

- Capability to measure campaign impact, media results, and derive insights.

- Ability to advise senior management and act as a trusted communication partner.

- Prioritize campaigns, meet deadlines, manage external agencies if applicable.

- Strong sense of branding, messaging tone, and innovation in media approach.

- Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and responding quickly to external developments.

5. Compensation
