Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing and executing category and sourcing strategies for CAPEX purchases including but not limited to Port equipment, Civil & construction, Information Technology, Engineering & renewable energy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the category.
- Mapping, analysing and interpreting key internal data, supply market data and key industry trends at a regional level.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations.
- Analyse supplier offers and quantify total costs (TCO) and total values (TVO) of ownership.
- Preparing and executing supplier negotiations individually or in cooperation with your team members.
- Translating commercial content of deals to contracts.
- Supporting resolution of contractual deviations during execution of contracts.
- Developing and managing supplier relationships; including supplier performance management: KPIs SLA measurement etc.
- Actively participating in improvement of procurement processes and governance.
- Support implementation of digital solutions to drive efficiencies where possible and relevant: Automation, Robotics, e-auctions etc.
