Data Science Analyst Technical Requirements: - Preferably Majored in Business or Data Analytics or, Computing, Computer Science or Computer Engineering with statistical knowledge - 3+ years' working experience in data analytics, reporting and database management. - Possess development skills and ability to: - Collect and organise datasets, - Perform exploratory data analysis, - Use of predictive modelling algorithms and programming to create models (if relevant) - Knowledge and experience in using advanced statistical techniques and concepts for data analysis eg. statistical testing, properties of distribution etc. - Experience using computer languages like Python, SQL, etc. to organize data and draw insights from large data sets - formats include database / files (both raw and processed), iOT data etc. - Experience with visualizing / data presentation tools/packages like D3 or PowerBI etc - Experience with distributed data/computing tools eg.SQL server - Knowledge of C.R.I.S.P methodology is an added advantage - Experience in creating and using a variety of advanced machine learning techniques like clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc. and knowledge of their real-world advantages/drawbacks is an added advantage - Experience in using Jupyter when developing the modelling script and in using Python Dash or Streamlit for web deployment of interactive models during LIVE Trials is an added advantage Softskill requirement: - Ability to engage different parties to elicit and document proper requirements to frame the problem statement - Strong Data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities - Ability to articulate the analytic findings in a layman manner to user stakeholders - Good written and oral communication skills in English. - Ability to exercise independent judgement and to work unsupervised - Ability to work under pressure towards fixed deadlines without jeopardizing standard of work - Ability to carry out thorough testing of the programs
