Purpose of the Role:
This role has the responsibility of handling:
- Supporting the team in assessing Private equity/M&A/IPO deals, building financial models and marketing collaterals, participating in investor due diligence, market and industry research, preparing materials like Notes, Memos, PPTs, Information Memorandum to support a transaction for both internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the team for business development/origination of deals on Private Equity/M&A/IPO
- Supporting the team for identifying relevant origination opportunities for participation and scheduling meetings with KMPs and/or Promoters
- Presentation to key internal/external stakeholders for Investment banking/ advisory clients
- Maintaining the dashboards/MIS regularly and updating the Partner on key developments
- Driving the Fee income business along with the Partner and contributing to the wallet share as per the targets assigned
- Identification of new business opportunities and travel on assignment/s as and when required either BD or execution.
- Maintaining investor relationships viz; Banks, NBFC, PE/VC Funds, Family offices etc and updating the investor database specific to each deal.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development (BD)
- To continuously work to achieve new business opportunities and organizing Team meetings or setting up con-calls with senior management.
- Explore BD opportunities across core sectors and geographies and travel with senior management at short notices
- To identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate to manager
Client service delivery/execution
- Execute the work on a multiple client base for Investment banking assignments
- Supporting in preparation of Information Memorandums, Financial Models, Pitch presentations, Project reports and/or Teasers
- Travelling at the client locations to ensure closure of Information gaps and/or execution related work as and when required.
- Participation in Due diligence of Deals till definitive documentation closures
- Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact issues with his/her clients
Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans and activities.
- Understand the concept of risk management and is able to bring to focus risk issues on client assignments and take issues to the notice of the manager/supervisor.
Knowledge Management
- Support knowledge sharing efforts and continually improve processes so that the work team can capture and leverage knowledge on ongoing basis.
Attributes/ Technical Skills
- Experience working on advisory mandates for Private equity/M&A/IPO
- Strong team-player with experience with working in a dynamic organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to think outside of the box, to challenge status quo
- Strong communication and influencing skills; collaborative and a team player
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 3-6 years working experience in Investment banking/Consulting.
- Exposure to Business development, execution of Equity deals, Financial Modeling, and/or primary & secondary research.
- Expertise in macro-economic research and identification of KPIs/SWOT
- Have good working experience in financial modeling, preparation of marketing collaterals, and investor relationships
- Excel, Word, Power point and Writing & Presentation skills
Education Qualification - Any Bachelor's degree, Chartered Accountant/MBA (Finance)/CFA
