Job Summary:
- The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in debt and equity fundraising for mid to large enterprises including bank lending, NBFC lending, venture debt, institutional credit, bonds, and private equity.
- The candidate must have excellent relationships across Banks, NBFCs, DFIs (like SIDBI), and other lending institutions. Candidates with prior experience in debt restructuring, M&A;, and project finance will be preferred.
- The candidate should demonstrate deep domain knowledge, strong local market understanding, and the ability to mobilize business across SME, Mid-Market, and Large Corporate segments. Exposure to Government / PSU sectors is desirable.
- The role requires proactive business development, transaction execution from origination to closure, and a strong analytical mindset. The position demands extensive travel and a go-getter attitude focused on execution excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire potential clients seeking debt and equity financing solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Assess clients financing needs and develop customized fundraising proposals, including debt syndication, project finance, and M&A; advisory.
- Drive business mobilization across SME, Mid-Market, and Large Corporate segments to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and financial proposals showcasing the companys value proposition.
- Lead negotiations with clients, banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions to secure optimal deal structures and terms.
- Coordinate and manage due diligence, credit appraisal, financial modeling, and risk analysis for transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory guidelines while executing transactions.
- Support in developing strategic partnerships with Banks/NBFCs/FIs to strengthen lending relationships.
- Maintain detailed market intelligence and provide insights on funding trends and opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- MBA / CA / ICWA / CFA with 5 years and above experience in financial services, corporate banking, or investment advisory.
- Proven experience in debt and equity fundraising, debt restructuring, M&A;, and project finance.
- Must have worked in lending verticals catering to SME, Mid-Market, or Large Corporate segments.
- Strong understanding of financial products, credit appraisal, and transaction structuring.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with strong execution focus.
- Experience in Banks / NBFCs / FIs is highly desirable.
- Local market understanding and domain expertise are essential.
