Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Transformation Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives. This senior role will work closely with CXOs, finance leadership teams, and global business stakeholders to optimize financial processes, deploy new technologies, and modernize the finance operating model. The ideal candidate brings deep finance domain expertise, strong project leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience with ERP transformations - preferably MS Dynamics 365.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Program Leadership:
- Lead large-scale finance transformation programs from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage multi-workstream program structures, ensuring rigorous governance, milestone tracking, and senior-level reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and Business units.
Finance Process & Operating Model Transformation:
- Assess and redesign core finance processes across R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Treasury, and Compliance.
- Drive standardization, automation, and simplification of finance workflows.
- Recommend improvements in financial controls, data integrity, and reporting quality.
Technology Enablement:
- Lead ERP implementation and enhancement programs, with a preference for experience in MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define functional requirements, oversee system configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Drive adoption of digital finance tools including RPA, AI/ML solutions, process mining, and advanced analytics.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Engage with senior executives including CFO, Finance Directors, and BU heads to ensure alignment and visibility.
- Facilitate steering committees, program reviews, and executive-level presentations.
- Ensure smooth change management through effective communication, training, and adoption strategies.
Program Delivery & Risk Management:
- Develop project plans, budgets, and resource models for large transformation initiatives.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions to ensure successful execution.
- Ensure delivery excellence and operationalization of new processes and systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, or finance process modernization.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and accounting principles.
- Proven experience leading multi-stakeholder, cross-functional transformation programs.
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations).
- Prior experience in global transformation programs or in a consulting environment.
- Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, or professional finance qualifications (CA, CPA, CMA, MBA).
