Position: Zonal Head / Regional Business Director

Role Summary

The Zonal Head / Regional Business Director acts as the chief executive for the assigned geographical region, with full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring operational excellence by seamlessly leading and integrating the Sales, Service, Support, and Lead Generation functions across the zone.

Location: North Region

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

- P&L Ownership: Manage the complete P&L for the zone with accountability for revenue, profitability, and contribution margins.

- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives; set targets and quotas for regional teams.

- Key Account Management: Oversee and personally manage high-value clients, strategic accounts, and large deals to strengthen long-term business partnerships.

2. Service & Support Excellence

- Operational Standards: Establish and monitor high standards for service delivery and customer support, ensuring achievement of SLAs and quality benchmarks.

- Customer Experience (CX): Drive initiatives to improve Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) through feedback-driven service enhancements.

- Escalation Management: Serve as the final escalation point for critical service or support issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

3. Lead Generation & Market Development

- Demand Generation: Lead and integrate Lead Generation activities in collaboration with the Marketing team to ensure a strong, qualified pipeline for the sales team.

- Market Intelligence: Continuously track market dynamics, competitor strategies, and economic trends to identify new opportunities, emerging segments, and regional expansion areas.

4. Leadership, Governance & Compliance

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing Sales, Service, and Support teams; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high productivity.

- Budget Management: Manage regional OPEX and CAPEX to drive cost efficiency while maximizing profitability.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, statutory regulations, and ethical standards across all zonal operations.

5. Government Liaisoning

- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant government bodies, regulatory authorities, and public-sector stakeholders to support business operations, compliance, and regional initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelors degree required; MBA or equivalent masters degree preferred.

- Experience: Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, including 3-5 years of multi-functional or regional P&L responsibility.
