Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead or Associate Project Manager to lead and manage complex software development projects across web, mobile, cloud, and enterprise platforms. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project ownership, stakeholder management, delivery governance, and ensuring high-quality execution within defined timelines and budgets.

This role is strictly focused on software or IT project management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects.

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.

- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking.

- Manage cross-functional teams including Developers, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and Business Analysts.

- Drive Agile or Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Monitor sprint velocity, burn-down charts, release metrics, and quality KPIs.

- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

- Manage change requests and scope control effectively.

- Ensure adherence to SDLC, quality standards, and security compliance.

- Oversee release management and deployment coordination.

- Prepare executive-level status reports and dashboards.

- Ensure client satisfaction and manage stakeholder expectations.

Technical & Functional Skills:

- Strong understanding of SDLC (Waterfall & Agile).

- Hands-on experience in Agile or Scrum project execution.

- Experience with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or Confluence.

- Good understanding of web and mobile application architecture, APIs, system integrations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices.

- Experience managing SaaS or enterprise-level applications.

- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

- Exposure to vendor and third-party management.

Leadership & Governance:

- Lead medium to large project teams of 10 to 25 members.

- Mentor junior project managers and coordinators.

- Drive delivery governance and quality assurance processes.

- Establish best practices for documentation and reporting.

- Handle escalations and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification preferred.

- 4+ years of experience managing software development projects.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in enterprise digital transformation programs.

- Exposure to global client engagements.

- Experience in product-based or SaaS environments.

- Experience managing distributed or offshore teams.
