Position Summary

As a Project Specialist Retail, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless execution of high-impact retail projects encompassing new store launches, renovations, expansions, and relocations.
Your exceptional project coordination skills and attention to detail will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned precisely with brand standards and regulatory mandates.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead detailed coordination and execution support for retail projects, ensuring store layouts, interior finishes, and fixtures strictly adhere to premium brand guidelines and safety standards.

- Proactively track and manage project timelines, financial controls, and deliverables; provide comprehensive reports and status updates to stakeholders and leadership.

- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including design, operations, procurement, logistics, facilities, and high-caliber vendors and contractors to streamline project workflows.

- Execute rigorous vendor management functions encompassing selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, and quality assurance to uphold service excellence.

- Conduct frequent site assessments, promptly identifying and resolving challenges or delays while maintaining rigorous quality control measures.

- Maintain meticulous project documentation, covering plans, contracts, budgets, approvals, and compliance records to support audit-readiness and informed decision-making.

- Facilitate smooth transitions of completed retail projects to operations teams ensuring operational readiness and exceptional customer experience from day one.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.

- 2 to 5 years of distinguished experience in retail project coordination, store development, or related sectors with a proven ability to manage demanding project timelines.

- Strong technical understanding of retail environments including store interiors, fixture installations, spatial layouts, and compliance protocols.

- Demonstrated expertise in vendor and contractor engagement, including contract negotiation and quality enforcement.

- Proficient user of industry-standard project management tools (Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, etc.), complemented by advanced skills in MS Office; AutoCAD proficiency is preferred.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at managing multiple stakeholders across hierarchical levels.

- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly for site inspections and project oversight.
