Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly accomplished Project Procurement Manager with proven expertise in executing procurement strategies for large-scale, multi-billion-dollar EPC projects. The ideal professional should bring strong technical understanding, global sourcing experience, contract management expertise, and hands-on involvement in complex industrial megaprojects.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement end-to-end procurement strategies for EPC/LSTK projects.

- Lead sourcing for critical packages, long lead items (LLIs), and major equipment.

- Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.

- Vendor Management & Global Sourcing

- Identify, evaluate, and prequalify vendors across global markets.

- Build strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and international suppliers.

- Drive RFQs, bid evaluations, negotiation strategies, and finalization.

Contracting & Commercial Management:

- Lead techno-commercial evaluations and contract awards.

- Manage contractual risks, claims mitigation, delivery terms, and price agreements.

- Ensure adherence to international procurement norms and Incoterms.

Logistics, Expediting & Supply Chain Coordination:

- Oversee logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding & delivery timelines.

- Monitor manufacturing progress, inspections (FAT/SAT), and expediting.

- Resolve bottlenecks to maintain uninterrupted supply to project sites.

Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, Construction & Project Controls teams.

- Ensure all equipment and materials meet specifications & quality standards.

Reporting & Leadership:

- Lead, mentor & supervise procurement professionals across locations.

- Present procurement updates, dashboards, and risk management highlights to management.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical preferred).

- 20-25 years' experience in procurement across:

- Oil & Gas

- Petrochemicals

- Fertilizers

- Power

- Alumina Refinery / Smelter

- Metals & Mining

- EPC Megaprojects

- Proven track record in managing procurement for $1B-$10B projects.

- Strong negotiation, contract management & vendor development skills.

- Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP procurement modules.
