Project Manager - Water Treatment/Waste Management - Sewage Treatment Plant

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing EPC projects from planning through commissioning, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, cost control, and client satisfaction.

This is a site-based role requiring strong technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end execution of STP projects from planning to final handover.

- Develop project schedules and monitor progress against baseline plans.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

- Manage engineering deliverables, including shop drawings, material submittals, P&IDs, method statements, and BOQs.

- Plan and supervise site activities, manpower, equipment, and construction resources.

- Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely material availability.

- Monitor project quality, safety, and compliance with approved specifications.

- Oversee inspection processes, including MIRs, WIRs, and consultant approvals.

- Lead testing, commissioning, and successful project handover.

- Track project costs, monitor budgets, and ensure commercial performance.

- Prepare and review payment applications, certifications, and project documentation.

- Drive project milestones while maintaining quality, safety, and profitability.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.

- 12+ years of experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment or EPC projects.

- Proven experience managing STP projects with capacities of 50 MLD or above.

- Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, commissioning, and client management.

- Experience with BOQ preparation, technical documentation, QA/QC, and contract administration.

- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is preferred.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Candidates must currently hold a valid UAE Employment/Residence Visa.

- Must be willing to work full-time at the project site in Dubai.
