Project Manager - Tech Firm

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects from initiation through delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and proven experience managing complex tech projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects by defining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UX/UI, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives.

- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and change logs.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

- Manage stakeholder communication, providing timely updates and managing expectations at all levels.

- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers when applicable.

- Ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

- Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) if working within Agile frameworks.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and improve future project delivery.

- Manage project budgets and resource utilization efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- 5-7+ years of project management experience in a technology environment.

- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or related project management certification preferred.

- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, or Asana.

- Experience working with remote and cross-cultural teams is a plus
