- To lead and manage supply chain projects that optimize operations, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services across the supply chain network.
- This role exists to bridge the gap between strategic supply chain goals and their execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, implementing systems and process improvements, and ensuring that supply chain initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Project Delivery & Execution : KRA: Ensure timely and successful delivery of SCM projects (e.g., ERP implementations, logistics improvements).
KPI;s:
- % of SCM projects delivered on time and within budget
- % of milestones achieved as per project plan
- Number of post-implementation issues or escalations
- Stakeholder satisfaction score on project execution
Supply Chain Efficiency & Optimization:
- KRA: Improve overall supply chain performance and reduce inefficiencies.
KPIs:
- Reduction in supply chain lead time
- Decrease in logistics or freight costs (% reduction)
- Inventory turnover ratio improvement
- Order fulfilment cycle time reduction
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- KRA: Coordinate across departments like procurement, logistics, production, and IT.
KPIs:
- Number of successful cross-functional meetings or workshops held
- Time taken to resolve interdepartmental project issues
- Feedback score from cross-functional stakeholders
Technology & System Implementation:
- KRA: Lead implementation or upgrade of supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM, WMS).
KPI's:
- % completion of system implementation phases (design, test, go-live)
- System adoption rate by end-users
- Number of technical defects/issues post go-live
- Training effectiveness (user feedback, completion rates)
Cost Reduction & Budget Control:
- KRA: Manage project budgets and reduce operational costs in the supply chain.
KPIs:
- % variance between budgeted and actual project costs
- Cost savings achieved through process improvements or vendor negotiations
- Number of cost-saving initiatives implemented
Risk Management & Compliance:
KRA: Identify, mitigate, and manage supply chain risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
KPI's:
- Number of risk incidents identified and resolved
- Time to resolve critical supply chain disruptions
- Compliance audit success rate (internal and external)
- Number of non-compliance issues reported
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
KRA: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
KPIs:
- Number of process improvement initiatives completed
- % improvement in KPI metrics year over year
- Feedback from stakeholders on innovation and process changes
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, SCM or a related field (Master's degree preferred - SCM or Operation).
Experience:
- 15-20 years of total IT experience including at least 10 years in a leadership role managing IT for engineering teams.

Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- APICS CPIM or CSCP (Certified in Production & Inventory Management / Certified Supply Chain Professional)
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt)
- CIPS or CPSM (Procurement-specific certifications)
