About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in retail banking and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-stream programs within global banks, driving end-to-end project delivery, and ensuring alignment with business, technology, and compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver complex, multi-workstream projects in the retail banking domain, covering business, technology, and regulatory areas.
- Drive end-to-end project lifecycle management including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, reporting, and governance.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across geographies to align project objectives and resolve escalations.
- Manage Agile transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with Agile ways of working and effective collaboration across teams.
- Oversee program resources, budgets, risks, and benefits realization to ensure delivery within scope, cost, and timelines.
- Conduct change impact assessments and implement structured change management practices to minimize disruption.
- Ensure strong project reporting, dashboards, and executive communication for decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of project management experience with at least 34 years in retail banking digital transformation projects (not operations).
- Proven experience in managing large, global projects/programs within Tier-1 or global banks.
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, program governance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage 810 workstreams simultaneously across technology and business functions.
- Excellent planning, tracking, risk & issue management, cost/benefit management, reporting, and resourcing skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and articulation skills to influence stakeholders.
- Experience in transformation projects (technology + business change), not limited to IT delivery or operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or Prince2 certification (preferred, not mandatory).
- Exposure to digital banking, customer experience platforms, and large-scale technology modernization.
