We are looking for a Project Manager for a Global Business Services firm to be a part of its Global Program Management business line. This Global Program team provides stewardship to the firm's overall business strategy, ensuring the strategic projects and programs are effectively governed and the outcomes delivered. This team works across the firm's governance model, collaborating with the firm's executive leadership to define, organize, govern and deliver transformational change in a coordinated and effective way. Role : The role of the Project Manager is to deliver the business benefits outlined in the Business case within the agreed tolerances of time, cost and quality. The role incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of the full project lifecycle covering the overall, planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of multiple projects. KRAs : 1. Deliver project milestones according to agreed project schedules. 2. Define business needs and requirements translating them into clearly documented application and operational requirements. 3. Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to establish the solution. 4. End to End Project Management - start, progress and finish with a defined and detailed scope including time, cost and governance parameters. 5. Develops, reviews and gains agreement of project plans, allocates resources and work packages to accomplish project objectives. 6. Undertake cost management, in liaison with the finance and commercial support teams, including time, resource and cost forecasting with associated change management. 7. Plan and mitigate project risks to acceptable levels to ensure project objectives and deliverables are achieved, communicating all risk mitigation steps relevant stakeholders 8. Prepare and communicate various project related documentation including; Project Board information, project briefs, exception reports and options papers The role incumbent will possess the following skills and knowledge, preferably practiced in a law firm or other similar professional services company : - Demonstrable evidence of several years project management experience covering at least four full project lifecycle deliveries - Degree or equivalent - Prince2, MSP, Agile Project Management or other recognized project management qualifications is mandatory - Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel - Ability to lead, develop and manage multi-disciplinary teams across multiple global locations - Excellent communication skills in order to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business - A strong customer centric approach and can lead by example; and - A strong desire to solve problems and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.
