About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced MEP Projects Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across premium commercial interior and workspace fit-out projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, project execution capabilities, contractor management skills, and the ability to deliver multiple projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality and safety standards. The MEP Projects Manager will work closely with Design, Projects, Procurement, Client Relations, Finance, Operations, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless MEP execution from design coordination through testing, commissioning, and final handover. The role will also involve building and leading a multidisciplinary MEP team covering HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, ELV Systems, DG, UPS, and BMS, while driving standardized and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution:

- Lead end-to-end execution of MEP works across multiple commercial interior fit-out projects.

- Plan and manage MEP activities to ensure timely project completion.

- Prepare project schedules, track milestones, and proactively address delays.

- Coordinate MEP execution with civil, architectural, and interior works.

- Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Design & Technical Coordination:

- Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submissions.

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, designers, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues.

- Participate in design coordination and technical review meetings.

- Identify design gaps, execution challenges, and opportunities for value engineering.

- Ensure MEP installations comply with applicable NBC, fire safety, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and statutory requirements.

MEP Systems Management:

- Oversee execution and coordination of: 1. HVAC systems 2. Electrical systems 3. Fire Fighting systems 4. Fire Alarm systems 5. Plumbing systems 6. ELV systems 7. DG systems 8. UPS systems 9. BMS.

- Ensure proper integration and commissioning of all MEP services.

Vendor & Contractor Management:

- Manage MEP contractors, consultants, suppliers, and service partners.

- Monitor contractor performance, productivity, workmanship, quality, and timelines.

- Conduct regular progress reviews and coordinate corrective actions.

- Verify measurements, bills, work completion, and supporting documentation before certification.

- Ensure contractors adhere to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Quality & Safety:

- Ensure compliance with project quality standards, SOPs, and approved specifications.

- Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and audits.

- Identify and resolve installation and workmanship issues.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safety standards.

- Drive timely closure of snags and quality observations.

Stakeholder Management:

- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Client Relations, Finance, Operations, consultants, contractors, and other internal and external stakeholders.

- Provide regular project status updates, including progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

- Participate in client walkthroughs and technical discussions.

- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag closure, documentation, and final handover.

Cost & Planning:

- Track and control MEP project budgets.

- Monitor material requirements, procurement schedules, and site inventory.

- Identify cost optimization and value engineering opportunities without compromising quality or performance.

- Review quantities, measurements, variations, and contractor claims.

- Support procurement and planning teams with technical and project requirements.

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 6-8 years of experience in MEP project execution.

- Proven experience in commercial office interiors, workspace fit-outs, coworking/managed office projects, IT parks, hospitality, corporate fit-outs, or similar projects.

- Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, ELV, DG, UPS, and BMS systems.

- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong ability to interpret MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical submissions.

- Experience managing MEP contractors, vendors, consultants, and suppliers.

- Strong project planning, execution, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.

Preferred Experience:

- Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred: 1. Commercial interior and workspace fit-outs 2. Coworking or managed office projects 3. Large corporate office developments 4. IT parks and commercial buildings 5. Hospitality projects 6. Experience working with consultants, PMC firms, real estate developers, or large contractors.
