Job description:

- We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Design Head to build, lead, and scale an independent MEP Design Department within our fast-growing engineering organization. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive design excellence, implement strong processes, mentor a LARGE member multidisciplinary team, and deliver world-class MEP solutions for global clients.

- Handled execution of Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, and filtration systems; coordinated with vendors, verified BOQs/bills, ensured progress, testing, commissioning, and as-built drawings.

- Developing project schedules, assisting design team, distribution system & layout of various MEP equipment to be commissioned in the project.

- Data and Quality Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date model data. Implement QA/QC processes to ensure model integrity and compliance.

- BIM Implementation: Lead the integration of BIM processes and standards across the design team and stakeholders.

- Conceptualizing detailed project reports and project execution plans after thorough discussion with clients, selection of sites, project evaluation in terms of outlays and profits attached.

- Review and approve design and detailed drawings, equipment selections, calculations, and technical specifications.

- Lead and collaborate with other disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Plumbing, FPS, Architectural, Civil & Structural) to ensure coordinated MEP designs.

- Perform and/or guide the team in performing cooling/heating load calculations, equipment sizing, and duct/pipe routing.

- Manage design timelines, deliverables, and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide design leadership.

- Provide technical support to the site team during execution, testing, and commissioning phases.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Mechanical with 15-22 years of Electrical design experience.
